Bloomingdale's API FAQ
How can I get Bloomingdale's API Keys?
API keys are given to approved developers. To request approval for use of the API you must Register for an account and register your application. A detailed description of this process can be found here.
When I try to make an API call using the API console I get a "Developer Inactive" error message. Why?
There are a couple reasons you might be experiencing this error:
A. You are not logged into the Bloomingdale's Developer Portal. Click here to sign in.
B. You are logged in but you did not register your application or request key access.Click here to read the registration guide that show you how to register and request API key access.
C. You are logged in, registered your application, and requested key access but your keys have not yet been approved. The approval process typically happens with in 1-2 business days. If you are denied access, you will be notified via email. Additionally, you can check the status of your keys by clicking here. If the status of your keys is "waiting" you have not yet been approved.
